About Dr. Melyssa Hancock

Dr. Melyssa Hancock is a Double Board-Certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Boca Raton. She practices the full spectrum facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, with emphasis on rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, as well as facial rejuvenation procedures and skin cancer reconstruction.

Dr. Hancock is also an active staff member at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and the Boca Raton Outpatient Laser and Surgery Center and is also a clinical instructor at the Florida Atlantic University School of Medicine. She currently serves as President of the Florida Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Hancock received her undergraduate education at James Madison University in Virginia prior to attending medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She then completed a comprehensive 5-year surgical residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Following the completion of her surgical residency, Dr. Hancock completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

During this year-long period of advanced training, she gained experience in the most innovative non-surgical and surgical techniques. Dr. Hancock is a member of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.  

Dr. Hancock was prestigiously named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in 2023, ranking in the top 7% of physicians across the United States.
